We had a really good run, and we believe it’s time for change.
In an attempt to reach more people and help more families experiencing homelessness in our community, we’ve decided to broaden our horizons and make our festival more accessible by transitioning from Veg Fest SCV to Eat. Drink. Local.
It is no longer a vegan festival as we intend to include and unite all members of our community, so we can collectively make a difference towards the homelessness in Santa Clarita. There will still be vegan-friendly options of course, but we are hoping by casting a wider net we will encourage more inclusivity and have a bigger impact on our local community.
Last year we were able to reach our goal of sponsoring one family experiencing homelessness, this year we want to help three families get off the streets and into homes! To do that, we have to appeal to a much broader audience. Our main goal is to help homeless children in the Santa Clarita Valley, and we genuinely believe that this transition will allow us to help more families.
We hope that you will support us in our mission and new endeavor, and join us at our first annual Eat. Drink. Local. festival!

On May 4th, 2019 we hosted our city of Santa Clarita’s first-ever Veg Fest and had over 2,000 people come out and celebrate with us! It was a day we’ll never forget, and hold near and dear to our hearts. We love our community and want to share our gratitude and good energy with y’all.
